Yesterday we went to Halswell Quarry Park. It was a beautiful sunny day hot enough to take our coats and fleeces off.
In the evening we met Bernie and his wife at the Twisted Hop for drinks and tea. He remembered us which was cool and we had a great evening and exchanged emails.
Then we came back and sat out on the deck with Frank and Claire as was their last night and drank more beers.
It was raining yesterday so we just went into the city and had a flat white and a muffin as we had filled the loyalty card only cost $3.00!!
We then looked round shops and in I site before going on the tram round the city for free!! as we knew the driver he said just hop on, normally cost $25.00!!
In the evening we went to the cinema with Seb, JB and Emiline to watch
Wanted, it was good movie.
Yesterday we went again to Victoria park, been about three times now

We went to the Sign of the Takahe like we often do for a flat white.
The Frightner's (Peter Jackson movie) was filmed there (well part of it) we only just realised after watching it on TV here..hehe..

We flew 1500ft was well good Dave told me after he had a hard time cutting the engine so had to flood it so I could land safely!!!
After liz was shaking so took her for a coffee...going out tonight to the Irish pub to celebrate french Julies birthday.
I had another interview today for Warehouse picker/packer at Waxglo in Woolston. I hope I get the job would take me through to mid December!!
They sell candles, serviettes, holders..things like that. Looks cool the guy interviewing me 'Peter' showed me how to dip the candle into the colour and then wrap it!! :-)

Today we went to Diamond Harbour on the ferry from Lyttleton.
It only took ten minutes over the water. We had a nice lunch in Godley House Restaurant(where I left my bag with library book and paper)
Sorted it out when we got back, they will take it to the library over there

Luckily we got back to Christchurch before the clouds rolled in and it started to rain.
I wanted to go to Port Levy to see where Juliet and Pauline jumped into the sea off the pier. But it was 12 K from where we got to Parau Bay
By this time it was 2.30 so we headed back to catch the ferry at 4.10!

Today we went to southshore Beach.
We chilled out and enjoyed the views of the southern alps from here.Then we decided to walk down the beach to new Brighton took ages.

Great news my cousin Lee is now a dad, his son was born yesterday afternoon CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Today we went on a road trip with the french guys and Emily from our house.Pictured is the old Mazda.
Before we set off it had snowed again to sea level in Christchurch!! as you can see plenty of snow on the car.
The lads and Emily wanted to do the whale watching but that got cancelled because of the bad weather.so instead we went to the Maori Leap Cave and on the way back took a tourist drive very good
Also you can visit the seal colony which is pretty good you can get soo close!!
Plus we said goodbye to Anne-Sophie this morning who is leaving to tour the south island and then fly home to France
Today I dragged liz on the gondola.It was snowing on the way up and the wind was blowing it around a bit!!!
Well it was good because it was free plus got discount in cafe and liz handed in CV for job
on way down got Sammie to take our picture and got free photo pack as well.Also got free tram tickets of Brian
so for the whole day only spent $15 cool
I am so excited I have just been offered an Interview next Tuesday @ 10.30 for Sales Assistant in the French Bakery up on Port Hills Road.

Today we went to the wildlife park and enjoyed the lion encounter where you drive through the lion compound in a cage and the lion keeper feeds them.They get pretty close as you can see!!!
Also seen more gibbons.Me and liz fed some giraffes and sheep and even a fat pig
Last night we had pizza party made by Seb and JB (that's my pizza being made)
Only $3 each and we all got to choose our topping VERY NICE.
Elizabeth is called Babet by the french guys!
We drunk quite a bit and JB tells me he was sick this morning and he calls us alcoholics lol
Also Willi was making Susannah her birthday cake at 12am at night
